12 Days of Prayer for General Conference

The Prayer Committee of the Transitional Commission on Convening General Conference (TCCGC) is excited to invite you to participate in a special 12-day season of prayer and fasting during Convening General Conference September 16-27, 2024.

This intentional period of dedicated prayer and fasting designed to empower the Lord’s work through the Global Methodist Church, as we unite around the theme of the Convening General Conference: “So the World Will Know.” This initiative offers an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate our collective dependence on the Lord’s empowerment to fuel our movement.

WCNP Friendraiser 2024

One of our local ministry partners, Classically Christian 89.5FM, invites the community to a free concert on Friday, September 13, 2024 featuring renowned violinist Cornelius Chiu of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by pianist Hung Soon Mo of the Chicago Institute of Music.

This event will be held at Walnut Hill Bible Church, located at 1900 East Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The concert begins at 7:00pm; doors open at 6:45pm.

GM Church Announces 40 Day Season of Prayer and Fasting Ahead of Historic Convening General Conference

This intentional period of dedicated prayer and fasting designed to empower the Lord’s work through the Global Methodist Church, as we unite around the theme of the Convening General Conference: “So the World Will Know.” This initiative offers an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate our collective dependence on the Lord’s empowerment to fuel our movement.

2024 Ice Cream Social

Saturday August 17th 11am to 2pm

Join us for a celebration of summer with our Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 17th. We will have ice cream, refreshments, board and yard games, and fellowship at the Dells Delton campus. The Dells Delton Bible Trail is also open for those who would like to enjoy the property and the history of faith we have in Scripture. The event is free, and any donations received will go to the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation to serve our community.

We will also have some local vendors with jewelry, crocheted items, cups and glasses for sale.

New Hymnals

We are planning to update our worship experience with a new collection of hymns.

    This 800-page Wesleyan tradition collection includes:

  • 675 hymns for the entire church year
  • A rich treasury of hymns by Charles and John Wesley
  • Wesleyan themes of prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace
  • Classic favorite hymns and contemporary selections across church history
  • Baptism and Holy Communion liturgies
  • Service music for various occasions
  • A rich collection of creeds, prayers, and benedictions
  • A selection of metrical psalter hymns
  • Hymns organized around the twelve articles of the Apostles’ Creed

Hymnals cost $31.95 each with shipping. You can sponsor one or more hymnals, or donate any amount you wish, and all gifts may be tax deductible and will be listed on your statement of giving for the year. Donations can be made by cash, check or online.

2024 Dells-Delton Salad Luncheon

Our annual salad luncheon will be held on Thursday May 2nd from 11am until 1pm. We will be offering take out meals and and delivery service with advance notice. Lunch is $9 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Call the church at 608-253-6511 for more information or to request deliveries. Delivery orders will be accepted through Wednesday May 1st.

Holy Week

Easter services are upon us.

Maundy Thursday communion service will be at 5pm.

Ecumenical Good Friday service is at 2pm, with the congregations of Bethany Lutheran, United Presbyterian, Holy Cross Episcopal, and Dells-Delton Methodist celebrating together.

Easter service is 10:45am Sunday.

Christmas Eve 2023

Services will be held at both 10:45am (our usual Sunday service) and 5pm (a candlelight service) on Christmas Eve this year. Come join us for one or both services as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and the hope that we received. Both services will also be streamed on our channel.
